So, I decided to do an interesting exercise. I took a piece of paper and identified all of the things that really mattered to me that I wanted to find in my next career.
Then I noted all of the things I was not willing to accept or compromise.
That one simple exercise was truly transformative and allowed me to see that what I was really doing was consciously deciding to lead my life and build it the way I wanted to live it, instead of letting life lead me.
That decision, to be the true leader of my life, was a pivotal moment for me. It was the beginning of my new life – my better life.
That didn’t mean the journey was easy! The beginning stages were rough. I had lost so much confidence in myself, and I was carrying around so many fears and doubts.
To create the life and success I wanted, I recognize that I had to take responsibility for myself in every area of my life, and knew I needed to expand my mind and develop new skills.
This started my journey of meaningful personal discovery.
And from then on, I adopted a growth mindset, embraced self-leadership and committed to my ongoing personal and professional development.
I’m so happy to say it worked — since then I evolved the process and turned it into my very own framework, called the Integrated Success Methodology. No matter the goals you are working on, it is a proven approach that empowers you to make conscious choices to support your desired outcomes.
For the last 15 years, I’ve used this framework with hundreds of corporate professionals and entrepreneurs alike, coaching and mentoring them to get intentional about their lives and create — and live — the life they truly want.
Throughout my own journey, as well as the work I do with my clients, I know one thing for sure: you absolutely DO have the power to shape your life with the choices that you make every day, no matter how trivial they may look or seem.
When you do, you’ll finally begin to lead your own life and live with more happiness, wholeness, and freedom than you ever dreamed possible.
